Re: Video tutorials

Hey there. I've been away quite a while. Always busy :D (everyone want's a piece of me lol) Anyway back to the project. Some of the videos are uploaded on youtube under the ReactOS TreeTorial username (just search treetorial). Who wants to see them you'll probably find them there. I thought that may...

Re: How to connect VBox with a local change-folder

For smaller files you can use mongoose. You just download and start it. ROS can then access the folder in which mongoose is run via browser.

Is USB support available in ROS 0.3.15 now?

Re: Video tutorials

I'm thinking of making a video about transferring files between VM (with ROS installed) and Windows host. I don't think there were many stuff said on this. (As steps it would be simple just downloading a program in reactos and in host, small configuration, then sending packets. ) Anyone know if the ...

Re: Video tutorials

milon if you are talking about the install on VBOX tutorial that one doesn't have all captions and annotations and also the intro and ending yet.I made it before we set up the rules, so I'll be getting to fix that very soon.

Re: Video tutorials

Maybe you would want to use the same color as the signature you have on forum when posting? (Red for tester, green translator, blue user ?)
Should we use the intros and endings you provided for all videos? I don't know how to copy them into my video.

We could translate them in other languages afterwards. please reply so I'll know if you can do it. I have to prepare for some tests so my vi...

Re: Video tutorials

Thanks for the interest. I'll reaply in order : ) - As you aren't speaking, maybe you may add a caption to highlight an important step or data. That's a good thought. Although one question: I used some annotations in the video, do you think I should replace them with captions or use captions AND ann...

Video tutorials

Hello. After suggesting about making some video tutorials, I've started recording some and posted on youtube. FOR THE MOMENT, there are only 2, simpler/common ones. Before making videos about each section of the wiki, I would like some feedback/suggestions about how they are and what should I do to ...

Re: Antivirus firewall

Another cool way to destroy the Host OS is extracting HDD from the PC, picking a Hammer, and hammering hard the plates. Having a Virtualizer installed won't save the user for these damages neither. :))))) Yes. Too stupid. Same if someone tries to mount the host HD as a VM HD. Srry for this useless ...

Video quality on youtube

I've been trying to upload some tutorials about reactos on the net. Anyone knows a way to stop youtube from screwing the quality of my videos?

Re: Video tutorials

I'll let you guys rate the quality ;) If I'll use the microphone I'll improve the sound quality with Audacity and try to keep the videos updated (old videos mislead sometimes)
