Cannot disable the controller...

You can try disabling the USB controller, if possible. If not, try deleting the usbuhci.sys using a livecd or something. The only thing I could do from within the bios (and I tried it both ways), was to enable and disable the usb legacy support. That made no difference. I think I'll just wait till ...

I think it's a an urban myth..
