Writing numbers with seperators, i.e. 1,000,000 instead of 1000000.

Shouldn't you just be able to dump the MBR of an installed ReactOS system and point NTLDR to it (C:\ros.mbr="ReactOS")? I haven't tested but in theory it works.

OS X has a very well-designed GUI, it's got the simplicity of the Finder, the white adds a touch of...sophistication maybe?, but the window effects look nice yet don't get in your way. I saw a video of Longhorn's window effects, they're gonna do stuff like spin down into the taskbar when minimized.....

Maybe put start menu links to software like OpenOffice, and when suer chooses them for the first time, ask if they want to install it, if they do, download and install it with package manger, if not, ask if they want the link removed.

Once driver compatibility is reached, it should be effortless to support just about any filesystem. Just a little code needs to be added to the boot process before the driver is loaded. Hmm, it would be nifty to modify the boot process such that FS drivers are loaded first, so as not to crap out on ...

winnt.exe?

Is there (or will there be) an equivalent of WINNT or WINNT32 to provide alternatives to those that can't boot the ReactOS CD or don't want to use it? (i.e. slow cd drive)

I'm certain this has been discussed before, but what about ReiserFS? It's got all of NTFS's features and a well-working OSS implementation.
