Try this,
Change default to Standard Uniprocessor in 1st stage setup.

0.3.15 RC boots to desktop without any issue on Dell Latitude 110L laptop, but still no audio, the driver installs OK, (Sigmatel STAC 975X AC97 version A03) appears in device manager.
Would be good to get sound so I can test some media software.

Thanks to wojo664 I can now install.
His suggestion that worked was to select Standard Uniprocessor during first stage installation setup.
I hope it will work for lots of others as well.

Try to choose non-ACPI mode in first stage install. Did what you suggested and selected Standard Uniprocessor and now installs to desktop.
