Re: This month in ReactOS
Well done! What a great initiative, and well presented. I hope you have the time to present a monthly account, if so forum members and visitors will see at a glance that this project is VERY much alive and kicking, and all those participating in the progression have never taken their eye off the bal...

Re: 0.3.15 RC Testing
0.3.15 RC boots to desktop without any issue on Dell Latitude 110L laptop, but still no audio, the driver installs OK, (Sigmatel STAC 975X AC97 version A03) appears in device manager.
Would be good to get sound so I can test some media software.
Anybody got any suggestions on this issue.

Re: Laptops installing/running Reactos from bootcd
Will HWiNFO32 or Speccy (work and) detect something? AIDA32 has been tested and works, so I'm pretty sure these have big chances to work too :) Aida32 was run under WinXP on the Dell Latitude 110L, before installing Reactos and returned chipset as not known. Since now being able to install Reactos,...

Re: Laptops running Reactos from livecd
It looks as if there is a great deal of work remaining for Reactos to be functional on real hardware, or the members are put off trying to get it to run. I urge you all to keep trying, you may well be surprised to see that it runs, if so and the machine you tried is a spare, then it is very likely t...

Re: Laptops installing/running Reactos from bootcd
Thanks to wojo664 I can now install.
His suggestion that worked was to select Standard Uniprocessor during first stage installation setup.
I hope it will work for lots of others as well.
Dell Latitude 110L Reactos R57118.
Edit:
HWiNFO32 returns motherboard chipset as Intel 910GML

Re: Why does Bootcd fail and Livecd succeed
Try to choose non-ACPI mode in first stage install. Did what you suggested and selected Standard Uniprocessor and now installs to desktop. This should be made common knowledge as I believe it will enable more users to install on real hardware. Unable to get rapps to download anything though, anbody...

Laptops running Reactos from livecd
This is a start at finding out if any laptops will run Reactos livecd yet, "out of the box". Please do not use this place for anything else, or it will become too cluttered. Just put Make, Model, Revision build of Reactos and Motherboard chipset (if known as this is useful to Alter author ...
