Last time I checked.. The Wine project aims to allow a PC running a Unix-like operating system and the X Window System to execute programs originally written for Microsoft Windows. Alternately, those wishing to port a Windows application to a Unix-like system can compile it against the Wine librarie...

ReactOS is alpha.. It does not preform well on real systems due to lack of working drivers, Give it time will ya? Most supported systems are those emulated by QEMU and VMware. It's gonna take time for them to "write" reactos and all of the complex functions before they can worry about supp...

Why is the explorer in C++?

I noticed the explorer that is in use awhile back was originally written as a replacement one for Windows. Recently I looked at the source and seen it was in C++, Wasn't one of the things thats said is ROS wants more C code then C++? I've also noticed things about the explorer that don't quite blend...

I noticed the ReactOS folder bit also... it works if you copy the files there, though it does not stop working after one image Jaix.. from what I can tell it works continuessly.. as long as you connect from the HostPC (if in vmware).

Wow, your a very good coder, I took the time to use the latest SVN build (28th) and test your server. IT WORKS! :D though I had to test in vmware, thus meaning it required to use the NAT adapter, for some reason bridge does not work thus it uses its internal DHCP client/server. ReactOS Host2Ip Application

I originally wrote the small application for *nix and later made changes for Win32, Recently I noticed it works on ReactOS and quite well to that fact. I was wondering if ReactOS developers/users would want such an application. I put it up under public domain, although I want to know if people are i...

Hmm, the site is still not vaild.. both the HTML and XHTML versions have so many errors it scares me  I know, its foolish of me to complain and nag over this, but either fix the code or remove the vaildation tags, it sends the wrong message. (Bad code? ;)) XHTML 1.1 vaildation - http://www.rea...

ReactOS code audit ...

ReactOS was slow at evolving orignally with this code audit people will lose interest, Mostly as the site will more then likely go un-noticed and people will move on. A NT like operating system would of been a good thing to look forward to. And recently I thaught it was going to speed up, as 2.8 and...

Site is not XHTML vaild.

Hey, just noticed this site claims XHTML 1.1 compliance. http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http: ... actos.org/
That seems to be false. Failed validation, 14 errors

CSS is vaild :-)

Not a real error but still somthing to look into I suppose.
