It is like the commit aircraft. The strain on the metal came throughout the whole flight. But it is at the point it is highest were the aircraft ripped open in flight. This does not mean the total damage done to the window happened during take off, it just means that is when the breaking point occu...

DOS clock cycle instructions? Frequency is the number of Cycles per second or Clock Cycles, perhaps this is a term not heard often outside of the Telecommunications industrie where we rely heavily on Frequencies, so we express them in Direct Clock Cycles or Cycles per Second (can change via company...

Did you notice your facts were returned hard drives? And if 40% are not due to mechanical failure, it still mean there is 60%. yes I did, but please remember thats 60% actual mechanical failure out of 1% noted as return on mechanical failure.... or 0.6% returns of failed Harddrives all together due...

With monitors, you made things to try and stop abusing them (screen savers, turning off etc) My point, is that technology has advanced greatly... You seriously don't comprehend information you read do you. but this is working against the hardware. Do the research, over all hard-drive failures are u...

It doesn't make much sense to make the package a self contained program though. Euphoria dosn't create self contained programs without fusing the script to the interpter. As such, the packager could just launch the script against the interpreter, solving your not wanting a self contained program :w...

mf's idea is going a way I like. I understand that ROS is to be a Windows Compatible environment, but its beginning to grow into much more, and to take full advanatage of the GPL license, it would be nice to run *nix programs. a three letter extension, as and never will be a brilliant idea. Its limi...

I sincerely hope that ReactOS doesn't get splintered like linux. I see the multiple distros of linux as something holding it back and not as a strong point. Some variation in packaging is good, but splinter it too much and you start running into user confusion and worse yet, eventual incompatibilit...

Maybe Rapid Euphoria could be our scripting languge? They release a free intepreter and its about 8x faster then perl, or python, or java. And close to 20 times faster then VB, you can also translate from Euphoria to C. Not sure if anyone thinks highly of this languge, but I'm kind of fond of its 'b...
