Re: Blog: Decorating the shell tree

TomTom, you mean?
They were not forced to give them their rights, but to stop distributing their software, or, alternatively, pay for the patent, which in turn would prohibit them from using the linux kernel.

Re: XP-like icons

The strip on the lower rim of the computer is not present in usual computers, so it can be seen as a copied idea from Microsoft. Also Noone got a label on the middle of his tower. by the way, a computer without keyboard looks silly, so add a keyboard. (Only if you DO want xp like icons. I'd prefer t...

Re: Blog: Decorating the shell tree

@erkinalp Depends! If you would run the ReactOS MSPaint.exe in Microsoft Windows XP, that is clearly NOT illegal, as it is allowed to run any freeware, as gimp, on Windows XP. As the 64 bit drivers are just PE executables and 64 bit drivers won't be programmed for some of older hardware, ReactOS would be able of bridging a gap here. From a processors point of view, it won't be a problem because of the...

Re: Virus Alert

I' m Sorry for that false warning. I checked with the latest AVAST Databases on a different Computer and no Virus warning came. I had to switch off the OnAccess Scanning function in order to be able to copy the files. Alright, it will be that it is just about some library linking ratios, perh...

Re: Virus Alert

Forgot that Different Programs call it different:

At least, that is what Sophos AntiVirus 7.3.3 calls it.
