I think it's funny how much time you put into making that image

I'd have to go dig through all the news about that... but some part of this might be wishful thinking, I'm much more a fan of .net code than javascript. argh....

Do we know 100% that the tiling UI is all browser driven, or was that still some of the assumptions that were made during the demos? I seem to recall MS making a big deal about HTML5 and Javascript being the new platform for everything, but thought they backed off that later... I sure wish they'd us...
