Re: Submit Code Topic for the forums.
I said that because I assumed you did not read the whole post and only the first sentence then commented on it. I apologize for writing it. As I stated it was only a suggestion and I thought if I gave an example it would of made more sense but I guess I wasnt that clear. I will give you an example: ...

Re: Submit Code Topic for the forums.
I get it you only want jira now with that said I put it up there as a suggestion nothing more and at no point did I say I want you to create another one. My reasoning behind the suggestion was for those who were having a hard time finding the right place to put fixes in jira so they are not discoura...

Re: Submit Code Topic for the forums.
I was not aware you could use same login but it does have a delay and you should really read everything in that post instead of picking 1 sentence out to comment on as it was my opinion nothing more. Now reread it if you still do not understand I will put it in lamens terms 4 you if you need. Thx ha...

Submit Code Topic for the forums.
I have read in a few posts that it is better to post in jira but I think it would be a good idea to have a section to submit code. Honestly having to create another account and then posting the bug and hoping you filled it out right, then posting your fix is just a long pain staking procedure in my ...

Re: MinWin and Ros
minwin is not related to any kind of microkernel. it is mostly an effort to reorganize basic user mode dlls Wrong, It is to split the kernel and user mode so the kernel part becomes a building block for future system development. Google Minwin and read the various articles as some go a little more ...

http://apcmag.com/microsoft_agrees_windows_is_a_really_large_bloated_operating_system.htm Will the devs be inplementing something similar to this? I noticed its tailored to a microkernel instead of their traditional hybrid kernel is that something that the devs will be implementing as well? This is...

Re: What draws people to Reactos?
These are my reasons. 1) Windows is bloated with software that is not needed and installs alot of excess drivers and such that takes up space for no reason. This takes me back to the first mac I owned where i could install for only the machine i was using or install for any machine and put the drive...

Re: Memory Allocator
Other software from the hoard site. http://plasma.cs.umass.edu/emery/software Nedmalloc and Hoard are very close in performance. Also Hoard has addons like the ones in the link above. I use addons as a descriptor because they use Hoard's interface but not sure if all do or just certain ones in the l...

Debugger
Used a program called cppcheck and figured id post the debug log it spit out. Note: The program does state that their could be false positives. Re: Virtual address spaces
I will stop posting. It seems you all dont want to hear any ideas so its a waste of my time trying to help. You know an answer would be more welcome than posting what you did. In plain english you may as well call me a retard and to go cry in the corner. Ah well it is a good project and I commend th...

Re: Virtual address spaces
I did not think they would but for reasoning wise I tested breaking windows 7 and I like how if things go wrong it will reload the desktop.
As I assume they are using VAS to do it or a simmilar method.
I just thought it would benifit by keeping the Reactos more stable and theroetically more secure.
