Re: ReactOS Mattermost!

There are many users operating other browsers beyond those giants that desire to be Chrome in look, feel and technical underpinnings. There is also Palemoon- I use Palemoon 32bit all the time - there is waterfox, there was cyberfox, there are other browsers for Windows. Basically, what is provided b...

Re: USB

Just be aware of ReactOS limitations being in Alpha and lower your expectations of replacing Windows now. Do it for fun, for testing on a VM or on test hardware, enjoy the slog, see what ReactOS will do with a particular piece of software that you aspire to run, get an idea of how ReactOS WILL opera...

Re: USB

If you found the beta version, you searched harder than me. ReactOS is in ALPHA. Read the installation instructions link in my signature below.

Re: updates integration

There is not 'yet' an open source Windows replacement. It is still in Alpha, meaning under development and therefore not yet ready for use for anything other than testing.

Do not install it unless you have read the installation instructions - the link is in my signature below.

IF it had been an old unfinished C++ project then the words would have read "I have picked up an old unfinished 32bit C++ project", that is why VB6.

Re: Target Kernel

We should make it an easier target - let's just copy a typical ROM from a Z80 and use BASIC instead of an o/s. We could have that finished in a few years.

Re: Trying to get companies to support ReactOS

I think it is entirely caused by 'whatnot', I think everyone will agree that 'whatnot' is the worst to be feared. The devs are sure to comment on the whatnots that they have encountered. There should be separate blocking levels in JIRA - WHATNOT/Serious WHATNOT. I abandoned my VB6 project due to a w...
