The devs aren't getting anything for this, they're doing it for themselves and the benefit of PC users around the world. The sooner ReactOS can replace Windows the better, but even if it takes another 5 years, I'm glad it's here at all! It is their hobby, right. I have hobbies, too. Though I do not...

ReactOS developers deserve a medal. And every donation they get. I can't believe some of the comments people have made. Yes, 0.3.1 is "late", so what? ReactOS is free. The devs aren't getting anything for this, they're doing it for themselves and the benefit of PC users around the world. The sooner ...

Only when ReactOS supports ASIO drivers will it be suitable for music applications. I'd expect WDM driver support will come before this.

I'm looking forward to the day I can ditch Windows 2000 and run Ableton on ReactOS!

Okay one thing that still exists in the SVN is ROS's tendency to just fall over when you put another CD in any CD drive. It works once, with once CD, but if I then eject the drive and put another CD in, explorer hangs when trying to view the drive, as does the command line when putting in the drive ...

Hallelujah! r20832.iso installs and runs in Qemu!

Is it just me, or is the font rendering on ROS antialiased? It looks better than in Windows 2000!

First suggestion that was made. I rebuilt the ISO without floppy.sys and the installer complains that it can't find floppy.sys, and then proceeds to boot off the hard disk. I tried using an older version of floppy.sys (from 0.2.9) but then the installer brings up another similar stop error, this tim...

What about those of us that get a similar bluescreen during the install process complaining about floppy.sys? I asked around on #Reactos, and got some helpful suggestions, but I still haven't gotten it to work. I've tried a couple of the newest SVN ISOs (admittedly a few days ago), and no joy at all...

I have a PC of a relatively similar spec (PII-233, a Dell Dimension D233... a relic!), and I can report that both 0.3.0 SVN and 0.2.9 release make it to the "second" installation stage, where ROS asks if you want to install or repair. Perhaps Disorder means the point where the ROS installer switches...
