A belated happy birthday!

Re: New idea
I agree with the idea of putting commonly used options together, instead of forcing the user to dig through a few menus. It's easy to do for me since I have done it a zillion times already, but to a novice user things like the refreshrate are a tad hard to find.

Re: Why don't we add a Japanese font to ReactOS?
If it's completely stand-alone then we could have a separate project for ReactOS 'Apps & Extensions' or such, yeah. Having a separate SF.net project for each app would be a tad messy, though. I would suggest keeping it more or less combined within the same framework at least (web, SVN and other serv...

Re: Why don't we add a Japanese font to ReactOS?
Japanese fonts are fairly large, yeah. The really big fonts are unicode fonts, however :) Especially after you have included all the chinese and simplified chinese characters. AFAIK we do indeed not have an IME yet. I'd be interested in learning a bit more about what'd be involved in implementing it...

That's great news that Pascal is getting more love on ReactOS
Haven't tried running an SVN client on ROS yet, I'm afraid. Not sure how stable the network stack is, so if it doesn't work in a recent build, I doubt you'll have much luck if even the CLI client won't run

If you mean USB storage, then yes, as long as they're inside a USB external enclosure ^_^ Else it falls under ATAPI/SATA.The123king wrote:Does Mass sorage devices include CD/DVD drives?

Re: Change Linux to GNU/Linux on the website
Nobody uses GNU/Linux to refer to Linux distros except perhaps 1% of those who have heard of or used Linux. Give it up, it's a non-issue. Nobody cares that what is meant with 'GNU/Linux' is a functional OS and not a mere kernel. People are plenty happy with using 'Linux' and 'Linux kernel' to addres...

Re: OMG
Actually the core of C++ isn't that far removed from C. What confuses many people is that it is a hybrid language, i.e. it doesn't attempt to be fully linear like C, or fully OO like C#. I will give you that writing a compiler for C++ is a horror compared to many languages (Ada is a breeze). It is h...

I can at least write my own code for ROS in C++, and have others port it to C if they really want it
