Certainly because there has been some abuse of the functionality by people in the past.

JIRA is not the right place for publishing investigation progress.
And using "epic" tag?
Here´s an example: https://jira.reactos.org/browse/CORE-15603
Don't you just understand what binarymaster has written and you quoted? JIRA is **ONLY** for bug-reports !!!!!!!!!!!!

It's usually disabled by default.
So, for all practical purposes, it's indistinguishable from nonexistent.
For all practical purposes you should have it enabled since day one (of the installation) so that we would not have to discuss about it only now.

I expected a screenshot in Serbian, not French, as you are a Croat.
First of all, it would be in Croatian, not in Serbian. Second, it's not because it has been two years since I'm living in Croatia that I suddently & magically became Croatian! (I have always been French.)

Re: I finally figured out how to make Win7 not suck; might be ready to say goodbye to XP

Or, why don't you just give Administrator rights to your account (or just use the built-in Administrator account directly)? Because administrators aren't allowed to do anything in NT 6.x I'm not kidding. Administrators in NT 6.x have fewer permissions that ordinary users do in NT 5.x You are actual...

Also VirtualBox does not belong to Sun anymore. :) No idea also why the very first se...

Re: Boot logo

look at ntoskrnl/inbv/logo , and also observe how the bitmaps are paletted-indexed bitmaps, and not regular 24-bits bitmaps.

When they will fix the appearance of the X button?
If you are talking about the Close-window button, its appearance will be fixed when (truetype) font hinting will work and that our Marlett font will have font hints in it.
