ReactOS isn't even Beta yet, so it's really not recommended for any kind of production environment. Or for risking any data that you don't have backed up. If it were me, I wouldn't use it for my main OS (yet!), but it's your call. At the very least, test it on non-critical hardware *thoroughly* befo...
I'm pretty sure when I first registered, I went WAY over 3 posts per hour. Would there be really obvious user feedback, or would it be more of a surprise ban? I can see where you're coming from, but this has potential to catch a lot of legit users.
I'm also impressed with the update to the forums. The site doesn't look like garbage on a mobile device any more. Also, I personally don't follow ReactOS very close any more, so it's news to me too. Part of the reason is illustrated above - I just really don't care for the harsh attitude that's so p...
For those saying I was an idiot getting rid of my Win10 image, well I only used it for displaying webpages to see how the HTML/CSS displayed in that environment, and from time to time, run the likes of FlashTools (yep there's a Linux version) for phone flashing, or driving my flatbed scanner. Linux...
Sense ReactOS was supposed to be a windows 95 clone / probably still is. Shouldn't ReactOS have a "Boot to DOS" option in it's shutdown menu like Windows 95? You kind of did that before the Explorer was implemented. Out of curiosity, what would you do with a "Boot to DOS" option...
Search function is your best friend. https://jira.reactos.org/browse/CORE-14350 Ah, thanks. I just tried googlig stuff like "ReactOS Application Manager SSL" and all I found was this blog post. Is it possible to make it work with 0.4.7 somehow or do I need to download a daily snapshot to ...
I don't speak Spanish, and I appreciate the enthusiasm, but please tell me you didn't just elect to create an official-seeming page for the ReactOS Foundation. (Not the reaction you were looking for, I know, but it's really not cool to do that. But maybe I'm wrong!)
There's TONS of fixes and improvements happening all the time. Occasionally new features are added, but getting there existing stuff stable & bug-free is usually a higher priority.
@dizt3mp3r, I think you misread the post. The issue isn't ReactOS failing. It's the system not even attempting to boot. It's likely the USB isn't being created properly. @fusion809, sorry, I have no idea how to do that under Linux. You could try running Rufus from a Windows box, but you need Admin r...
