Re: Xming for Windows.

I do not think this will be included by the devs, but you could easily install it when ReactOS in a ceartain state. till then you could do some testing and give feedback about your results...

Re: Company behind ReactOS?

But this does not make much sense for reactos since most drivers reactos needs are already developed by the manufacturers for windows, what gives reactos a big advantage on linux and other open source oses and is one of the main purposes of reactos...

Re: Company behind ReactOS?

why not contact the olpc project, they plan to make their next machine (XO 1.5) compatible to windows software, so this should be an opportunity for both projects...

Re: Tmax Window, windows compatible proprietary OS from Korea

after watching the videos it seems to me like Microsoft is going to kill them anyway, they even use MS Icon design (for desktop for example) so i doubt microsoft will let them sell one copy of this fraud...

Re: Live reactos on flash disk.

sorry if i´m wrong, but as i see it, libusb is not a usb stack, but more of a general usb-device driver, it enables support for all kind of usb clients, but usb support must be available on the host.

Re: 1:1 MSPaint clone - not ? but !

i am also fine with the resize option, and since i do not use mspaint to much anyway i maybe would not even recognize if you would not implement this. i just wanted to give my opinion on usability. btw, what is the cost of having them like double the size? i do not see any disadvantages.

Re: "net.exe" false positive trojan alert by Avira antivirus?

i´d say this is a false positive for sure, maybe caused by a heuristic scan. since parts of an operating system perform tasks that are also performed by malware and suspect files do not have same signatures as original windows files. btw i partially agree with previous posters, you do not need av so...

Re: 1:1 MSPaint clone - not ? but !

@SpoonmAn: They'll get the same size they have in MSPaint. Most likely not everyone is of your opinion. It might be a good idea for screens with huge resolutions, but not for smaller ones. hey, what you mean with "small resolution"? 640x480? i feel at 800x600 those 2x2 px dragboxes are st...

Re: 1:1 MSPaint clone - not ? but !

hey, when you reach the point to add the resize boxes, please do not forget to make them a litle bigger than microsoft did, in my eyes they are so smal in ms paint that they are nearly useless!!

don't think this usb connection cables are very useful for debug since they either just allow file transfer or otherwise simulate a network, what in this case would be better to use a real nic...

Re: Virus Virus Virus!

i agree,a file system with permission support is very important for a today os. the problem with run always as user is that many kind of software expects that it is running in an admin account. for example i wanted to set up a boys computer like this with winxp but when running as user most of his g...

Re: Virus Virus Virus!

also u have to see that most viruses use some kind of exploit to infect a system, and since reactos is not really windows those security holes are not there where they are expected as they are in a real windows system. and it is not likely that someone is going to find an explot in reactos to build ...
