My interests mainly lie in C/C++ because they can be used for so many purposes. I'd also like to learn python and ruby as well for later usage. Thanks, I hope someone can help teach me how to implement APIs because I'm unfamiliar with it. Hopefully I will be able to do something good for ROS. How are those supposed to help us? The ROS's conception is to make it alike to the other nt systems, but also expand it in preference to make it better. I installed ROS on an old 'Gateway Profile' machine I got from my dad.
