I'm thinking of trying to install it on a campact flash with a ide interface.. Wondering how small it can be. So, I can get away with a 1 Gig CF.. A second hard drive would be for data / applications. USB would be nice way to have the 'real' paritions.. In general, in windows, I like to have differe...

minimum hard disk size to install ?
Is there a minimum hardware requirements posted somewhere?
I did not see a list in the FAQ.
My question is, what is the minimum size hard disk partition to install ROS on real hardware?
XP requires a minimum disk of 4 Gig.
Is reactos the same?
thanks

DEVELOPMENT KITS specifically the sentenance: "ReactOS requires the use of several third-party software development kits for its development." Is this necessarily true? Would it be more accurate to...

I vote for the DEC Alpha.
Why? Not because I own one, because I dont. Not becasue its the fastest hardware out there, because it is not. (anymore) The stated goal of ROS is to be binary compatible with Windows. Jump into the WAYBACK machine, circa 1994, when DEC (pre-Compaq assimilation) gave a DEC Alpha to Linus in order to...

fixed: LiveCD under qemu/xp
I'm trying the LiveCD images (both) with the provided distro of qemu on XP. I get the following set of messages, each as its own popup window. Any ideas on what it means? I tried both iso images on my gentoo box and just got a message about not being able to load.... is there a way to pipe the error...
