Not really a solution for you - but i'm running v037 in VMWare WS 6 NAT bridged and internet works fine.

i'm able to download via "Downloader" all listed components.

Are you working via proxy or direct connection ?

same issue on my side if i'm installing the VMWare tools !

I had deselected all NIC related drivers - getting the same result.

I'll try to figure out which driver is root cause during the installation and will post my updates
