Re: About automatic build

Works fine on my smartphone. Maybe you just can't figure out how to find it using GitHub's mobile web UI?
Here's a link: https://github.com/reactos/reactos/tree/master/.github/workflows/build.yml

Re: ReactOS with over 4gb of ram?

It looks like Vadim Galyant may be doing some work toward PAE support on 32-bit ReactOS. I know this doesn't necessarily mean that we'll get full/working support for 4+ GB of RAM on x86 builds of ReactOS any time soon, but it is a glimmer of hope for those of us who want to see this feature working ...

Re: writing a driver: why does Windows refuse to load my simple driver?

Because at first ReactOS was an open source alternative for Windows 95 (kernel near from the 2000's one) Certainly not. ReactOS was originally an alternative to Windows NT 4, then Windows 2000, then XP and Server 2003. Windows 9x/Me OS and kernels are of completely different design than those of Wi...

Looking at your screenshots, it looks like you may have found a bug in VMWare Workstation.

Re: Appreciation to Developers

Be advised, it isn't a very sophisticated update/upgrade process and it is not unlikely that it will bork the system in one way or another.

Re: Telegram Desktop ends support of Windows XP

Looks like we have a partial implementation of CompareStringEx in the code. I can understand if it's hidden by ReactOS not exposing NT6+ exports, but the NT6+ shims should make it so it at least be findable, even if it may need more work to make it function correctly, right? or is the NT6+ compatibi...

Re: Logged in as moderator on website?

There is a known issue where on rare occasion the server caches web pages as a logged in user and serves them publicly, this is most likely what happened here. It won't let you see any pages you wouldn't normally be able to see, it's just sending you the html for your current page as it would have b...

Re: No boot Windows or Reactos

OK, guys. Perhaps installing an Alpha version of an OS on a computer they actually cared about wasn't the brightest thing Evertonlps has done lately, perhaps doing that install via an unsupported method (USB is still a work in progress) wasn't their best decision ever, and being rude to people (espe...

Re: A Superscalar Out-of-Order x86 Soft Processor for FPGA

about a superscaler FPGA open source 32 bit X86 single core processor design I'll admit I didn't read the whole thesis (yet?) but I don't see any statement that it's open source, and I haven't been able to find the source. Where are you getting the idea that it's open source? Were you able to find ...

Re: USB initial plug and play support wine

By "we", I assume you mean yourself, as the ReactOS project has made a point of not making time estimates, so even if the developers did have a timeframe in mind for full USB 1/2 support, they wouldn't be posting it here, and they wouldn't appreciate others doing so, as that just makes peo...

Isn't 'thunking' usually between apis of different bit depth? i.e. between 16-bit & 32-bit, or 32-bit & 64-bit Windows APIs?

Re: $35 Atomic Pi (x86 Intel Atom Z8350 4GB RAM 16GB flash)

Here's an interesting factoid you might like to know: the board Digital Loggers is now selling as the "Atomic Pi" is was originally developed by Mayfield Robotics for use in their "Kuri" household robot. For more info see reddit.com/r/Atomic_Pi/comments/bnvtq8/atomic_pi_leftover_...

Re: Windows Linux includes full Linux OS w/ext4 file system

If Microsoft publicly releases it's WSL 2 Linux as open source, ReactOS can use the same Linux as Windows but not require a license. According to the video linked in the OP Microsoft will be making changes to the Linux kernel, and distributing it via Windows Update, therefore (since Linux is under ...

Re: WordPress Version 5.0 For Website Development

@youngg50 Sorry to say, but your message does seem very bot-like. Anyway, assuming you're a real person, and you're still using WordPress version 3.5 as indicated by your first message, PLEASE update to the latest version. Yes the interface has changed a bit since version 3.5, but it's not that hard...
