Install ROS standalone

Can ROS 0.2.8 be installed as a standalone system? I have a Celeron 533 with 128MB Ram and a 10G HDD but no OS installed on it. It used to have WinME, but as usual, it became corrupt. I ran fdisk and reformatted the HDD. It is using FAT32. I then downloaded ROS 0.2.8 ISO (http://cogent.dl.sourceforg...
