Re: new ReactOS Explorer design
explorer.exe is the taskbar and the filemanager and the desktop and much more. The "common tasks" (shown in your screenshot on the left side of the window) window and the "right-click menu" are also part of explorer.exe in a sense, but can be added or subtracted to using the reg...

Re: new ReactOS Explorer design
Would it be better to have one executable for file manager and one for user inteface (taskbar, start menu, desktop icons...) or would that break compatibility?

Re: "Designed for ReactOS" Logo
how about just an original ReactOS logo (you can see it in top left corner of this page) and the word "ready" under it.
so it would say: "ReactOS ready"
PS: Does ReactOS have a new logo (i mean icon)? the light-blue one? i like the original.

Re: new ReactOS Explorer design
Why has the panel the same content like the context menu? that's stupid. i think a task panel is a good idea, but there shouldn't be a static content. (Why has the panel the same content like the context menu?) because the panel IS the context menu (i think a task panel is a good idea, but ...

No need to click on a list to scroll with a mouse whell (just hower the mouse over the list) - If horizon...

Re: new ReactOS Explorer design
news flash
this is a concept. this means that it's not an actual product. it's just an idea.
i don't think explorer_new.exe has a file manager. I took an image of win xp explorer and modified it in paint.
i am not a developer and wouldn't know where to start.
please reply thanx
