Sorry for being off topic, but I just have to put a plug in here.
IRT Usb, please dont forget Johannes Anderwald. He has done so much of the work.
He deserves alot of credit for the progress being made.

Re: Great job guys! But a few suggestions!
The commit to USB_bringup about keyboards and mice was only for the hub driver working properly in windows. Sorry for misleading. Unintentional.
However a commit a few weeks ago fixed problems
with our old USB driver fixing some issues with keyboards and mice.

Yes try a recent build, there was a bug that was related to this issue, iirc fixed after 0.3.13.

Re: bget and where code meets memory hardware
I am also at a loss on your question. But first if I may clarify a statement. Virtual memory and paging are implemented by the OS and hardware, the MMU to be exact. Back to the "get memory". Are you asking how the OS determines the amount of memory in the system. Other than that the OS ker...

Over 10 version of an operating system?
What nonsense is this?
I for one, look forward to any contributions to ReactOS.
However, this seems all to familiar.

Re: Congratulations for 0.3.12!
I haven't tested it yet, but read that ROS now has SXS. I kind of makes me :( SXS was introduced as a urgent measure to improve "servicing" (MS Word for bug-fixing). I can understand that you need Installer to support installation of applications, but why would you need SXS? If you also i...

Re: XHCI USB Bus
Yes, the XHCI driver would be part of the USB Stack. I havent looked at the code yet but the design is probably different. I'm sure it can be used as a reference whenever I or someone else gets that far.

Re: An operating system
Mohamed_Mezo, In a little over a week, you claim to have made a new shell and new programs. You claim to have read ReactOS source and understand it and that you read some books on NT development. Yet you seem to not understand the GPL or other licenses documented in ReactOS source. At first you seem...

Indeed more...dont expect it for 0.3.12 release :) Maybe after 0.4 ;) Mjmartin said that at least it will take a year for a basic USB. I threw a year out as the time it would take as I had no idea how much time I could devote to USB and was just starting to look over the USB specifications which I ...

No need to report bugs here when you already reported via bugzilla and irc.
