i think that using mount points instead of drive letters will scare off a ton of new users.. i mean really .. the reason most people use windows is because its easy, and lets face it .. mount points are confusing as hell for people that have never used a *nix os. i agree that it would be cool ... bu...

 the absolute last thing we need is another scripting language imo the ones that are availible are fine, also it would just be something to distract the developers from doing whats important.... WRITING THE OS!

Anyway, i think OpenBeFS would be better for ReactOS: i must dissagree here if you want a 64 bit journaling file system, the best out there is xfs by sgi, they have been doing 64 bit journaled file systems since most script kiddies were in diapers. i think that if you compare the specs of Sgi XFS a...

Third-party open source media players are not a bad suggestion, but I personally think an in-house Media Player is a much more pleasant and seamless solution.
i agree completely here... perhaps it could be wmc striped down to just include the features that were in wmp v6.4.

ok you guys seem to be getting a bit off topic here. please go back and read the initial question again. implemented for ros after the w32 api is completed this is the main thing im concerned about and im possitive the devs agree with me on this one .. subsystems are simply an afterthought.
