because some apps need it (especialy if you dont plan on installing a web browser) No, I don't mean why the Mozilla ActiveX control. I mean, why the Mozilla 1.5.x ActiveX control? As in, why not the 2.x.x control? I'd offer to compile it and offer it, but 2.11 is available and the build environment...

Why the Moz 1.5 ActiveX Control?

The code to build the ActiveX control is present in the FF source for every version, including 2.x.x.x, it's just that the FF folks lack the foresight to provide it as a separate download, but it can be done. I gave it a try but the build tools are so riddled with bugs that I couldn't get far at all...

20 minutes ago I extracted the boot sector in a liveCD ISO (livecd-32894-rel.iso)... so I am unclear about what this means?

UNIATA in place of ATAPI

I did a search and I didn't find anything here or on the site other than "no one has tried this yet." I just downloaded April 8 live CD (livecd-32894-rel.iso) Opened it, extracted a boot sector, copied it to my HDD, renamed ATAPI.SYS to UNIATA.SYS, created a new ISO, and it worked fine in VMWare Wor...
