Re: A new coder
Hi CodeVisio! Feel free to fix any of the Winetests: http://reactos.org/testman/compare.php?ids=11139 As you can see there are some failing. Click in the red background cell and a new window will show which test are failing and a link to them. These tests check different APIs by sending them some p...

Given our interests to see ReactOS used in embedded environments we would be grateful if you could perform some further investigations for us. Follow the links in my signature to find out more about filing Bugzilla reports and debugging.

Re: Partnership with german universities?!
Thanks for the clarification, Z98. I believe the Windows Research Kernel from Microsoft managed to gain some traction with academia, although it seems that it is no longer as well-maintained as people hope it to be. Could ReactOS fill this void, and if so, what has to be done?

Agreed with most of your points. Doesn't Cisco have a Linux port of the VPN client?

Re: Help with adding Na'vi to muilanguages.h file?
How many people do you actually expect to get the attention of with this translation? Do you really think people that matter are easily influenced by shock factor? I seriously think that this is an absurd idea, at best, and that you should better spend your efforts on other ideas.

Re: Help with adding Na'vi to muilanguages.h file?
So what good will a Na'vi translation give us again? My primary goal with working on Na'vi translation is to create shock value or free shock advertising to be exact at no monetary cost. Time and energy will be spent true but if you don't have that kind of money then this is the next best option. S...

At any rate, this thread is more for general interest than a call-to-action.jorl17 wrote: Talking to people who can understand what ReactOS is and what it stands for: Yes. Talking to the government: No, no no.

Portuguese Government Orders Open Sauce On Older Computers
Thought I should share. The Portuguese government is not intending to renew licenses for Microsoft software installed on older computers, ordering them to use open source alternatives. Relevance to ReactOS should be obvious. http://news.techeye.net/software/spanish-government-orders-open-sauce-on-ol...

Re: ReactOS on eBox and embedded systems
If I remember my Vortx86DX products correctly, it's probably over IDE. CF cards can function as IDE devices, so it's likely ICOP soldered a CF pinout to plug directly into the IDE controller.Z98 wrote:Compact flash? What interface is it running over?
