Gee, thank you for materially picking apart my post. "This piece goes over here in the shredder, this one goes in the incinerator..." God, man... if you want a forum, be more open to people having an opinion . Especially those with nothing (at the moment) but good things to say about your ...

While the core devs of Windows may be geniuses, the overall effect after being passed down through the corporate tubes is a product of pure bullshit. The only thing bringing me back to even trying Windows Vista after its complete and total failure is my hopes that the bullshit can be stripped from i...

Well, I learned PHP, MySQL, HTML, and JavaScript by looking at source code for forum software like phpBB, IPB, and lots of code examples... ;) (in fact, if not for code examples from other sites, I'd never know a bit about JS... I hate the lack of examples in JS documentation!) And, well... I didn't...

Ah, I see. I thought it was a "fat fingers" problem where something probably got changed at the last minute before it went up on the site, that ended up breaking something (like, eh, keyboard support). ;) So, well, no problem I guess. I do think it should be "hurried up" since it...

Or even look in this very thread. Jeez. Newb blindness?

@ Z98: When will the next point release be up? It's got to be horribly bad for public image to have an accidentally broken image with an already-fixed problem on the main download... seems like a bad way to manage such a viral project! :P

The mods are replying here. Sheez. Quit with the empty threats.

And if you'd just ask... far as I can tell, it was fixed... which means all the current images have it fixed. It's just not in the main image for some reason...

Yeah, I've got identical problems with the current version on a system I tried it on (see the topic, "Installation", in this forum). It first happened to me on the install CD, where I got stuck at the "language selection" page. If you want to try debugging (or reading behind-the-...

It's the damn keyboard bug*. I really wish they'd hurry up and put out an emergency bugfix on that problem. It's fixed in the CVS ISO, but that ISO doesn't have most of the OS on it (it seems) and it's overall pretty shambled. So right now we're stuck with either a) stare at a pretty, but unusable, ...

If I were a flamer, I wouldn't be kissing ROS's ass. ;)

Linux just sucks, it's a fact of life. No flame. Just fact.

Why insults? Linux is no garbage, if you do not like not use it. I have rage for read this kind of comments. I don't like it and I don't use it. How do you like that one? I just get sick and tired of it being the ONLY OTHER CHOICE for people to use on their computers. It's about darn time something...

My god, yes! Keep at it! This project IS MADE OF WIN!

Screw all those darn "why your reactos not work, it made of fail!" posts! I'm here to give everyone involved a big pat on the back. ReactOS is made of pure win. It's really commendable that ROS is starting from scratch to be a whole new clone of a really corrupted (but still most popular) ...

Yeps! I downloaded the SVN LiveCD version and booted it up. Surprisingly, it was only about 17mb (that can't be right). It booted fine and I had keyboard control but no mouse... and there were a _LOT_ (I mean a LOT) of missing components and functions. "Tabbing" was also broken - it was im...

Well, I just can't get it to install on this thing. I'm not sure what it has to do with, but after enabling the debugger, I sure found it has nothing to do with the disk cache (like I had previously suspected). Sure can't be explained though... I sure wish this forum didn't use phpBB. It's impossibl...
