Re: Restore your MBR for ReactOS [GRUB, LILO] Bug 2733 [Real HW]

been using fixmbr from the winxp install disk, i'll try this next time i install reactos. thx

Re: Mono Support

Re: Dealing with differenct MBRs (Grub, LILO, Win32 MBR...)

If you are trying to remove grub. lilo...etc. From the recovery console of windows xp. I believe the command you are looking for is c:\ fdisk /mbr c:\ fixmbr fdisk /mbr will blank any record in the mbr, fix mbr will restore the windows xp mbr. from here a simple install of reactos should work. I do ...

you will need to run:

Code: Select all

fdisk /mbr
if you have an old win cd laying around, boot it into recovery mode fdisk will be available once you reach the prompt.

maybe release a v.0.3.4.1?

what are the odds i could talk the dev team into releasing an extra point release that includes major bug fixes that missed the 0.3.4 release? i am very new to actually testing and using reactos and i have been bumping up against a wall of bugs that are reported to be fixed in the latest build but i...
