Hi All Firstly, I have been noticing for quite a while now that on the Ros Rel vesions that when u select on bootup the debug option and it shows what files are being loaded, you get 2 x vga.sys and 2 x vbe.sys files being loaded. System boots up into blank screen
I have the same problem a, a blank screeen, I normally get it if I start the system for the first time. When I reboot its fine and all relevant icons appear as per norm. I must mention this happens even with the lastest trunk build.

Why dont you do away completely with the bottom start bar, time, etc. Rather when right clicking the mouse anywhere on the background or screen it will bring up the start menu with its icons. Why does the reactos team not utilize the driverpacks freely available. You could even liase with driverpack.com. the packs are free to be used when you want to burn a bootable Win XP Cd.
