You guys keep seeming to forget that the OS needs to know how to talk over USB in order to run off a USB drive. Once the OS is up, there are no other intermediaries between it and the hardware. All we need is BIOS INT 13 enabled storage driver.
With BIOS USB Disk emulation, we can treat USB Pen Drive or USB external disk as normal IDE harddisk.
