Can the audio service be designed to be an audio server such as http://pulseaudio.org/ which is new to Linux distributions? The ability to redirect audio, change formats and re-sample would be very nice for me, maybe not so much if one is trying to support DRM technologies.

What about Opera 8.5? it is nice an small. 3.6MB download that should be good for the people that constantly complain about size, zippy install times too. Besides it has many nice features such as zoom and support for flash, shockwave etc...
