OK I FINALLY FIXED IT....
it was easy:

"To uninstall FreeLoader, boot from a MS-DOS or Windows Restore floppy disk, and run the command "SYS C:". After this, the BOOTSECT.DOS file can be safely deleted. "

Well i start the pc and it still says loading Freeldr and then i get the message about not being able to load modules from imports

I am using xcopy but it says Access Denied when i try to copy the file. it also say /R is an invalid switch and it is supposed to be overright read-only files.....

k, i type in "fdisk /mbr" and nothing happens it just does this:

why is the filename "bootsect.DOS" and not "bootsect.dat" ? and why is it empty?

does anyone know if I can get a cd version of a Windows 9x boot disk?

The other computer i have here is a windows xp without a floppy drive i got UBCD to run on the old computer, it creates a virtual floppy disk and runs various programs off of that. Anyway, bootsect.dos is blank and so was freeldr before i edited it.

ok, I installed ReactOS onto a computer with Windows ME installed on a single-partition, FAT-32 hard drive thinking that Freeldr would add Windows ME and ReactOS (newest released version) to the boot options. I installed Freeldr to the MBR and got "Don't yet support loading new modules from imports"...
