I'm wondering if ReactOS is intended to be a Vista clone. On the long run maybe, but personally I'd like to see it clone Windows 2000 first. Why? First of all because it's easier to start there. But more important is that people who can afford the latest hardware, can also afford Vista and will thus...

Gordonf, I am in a comparable situation to you where many people's computer problems have made them afraid to use their computer. On the other side is the annoying kind that loads their pc full with spyware time after time. I share your dream of fearless pc usage, but I'm not so optimistic that I be...

Get Windows (or ReactOS which is the alternative) if that's what you want. There is absolutely no reason to argue which mod...

Sorry to hear that. The screenshots kind of suggested it a little bit but I already thought that was some huge improvement over the last one I saw (hence this topic)

ROS for a basic Internet/office pc?

Hi folks, I was last here when you still had the old forums (even advised you to switch to phpBB!) and the latest ReactOS I tested was 0.2.8. Now that I've seen the new screenshots I'm wondering if it'd be a good idea to put ReactOS on the "new" Internet/office computer that I'm building for my brot...
