to risk sounding like an idiot... i downloaded those files... and i have no idea what to do with em. replace the one on the current install, or swap the ones on the install cd image with em? Similar error happened to my real hw. It occured to be bad build of ROS, if its your own build please try to ...

hmm. That would entail getting rosbe set up (and i'd need to learn it), or is there a pre-compiled disk with this enabled?

as i understand it SIW is a frontend for something built into windows (maybe WMIC, i seem to think thats what was mentioned, but i can't remember), that probably hasn't been implimented on ROS. I suppose i quick session with SIW and winpooch might figure out what SIW needs to work/hooks onto
