One idea that I had not SoC related but good for Haiku in general was
a port of Wine. If perhaps you were able to get a SoC student to sign
on for that or maybe convince the Wine guys to list it. It would help
all projects involved by creating a larger pool of developers that
were working on a set of common libraries.
