I don't think so. Some members of the dev team who have historical
importance do hold also important roles in the project, but not all of them.
I think they are concerned about his historical role, which is fair (i
suppose so). There's no reason for ROS to come to an end because one of the
devs leaves (at least not directly and as long as most of them stay active).
