I would actually recommend against using vB.
For $25 more, you could use Invision Power Board. vB only give you
free upgrades for a year ($30 a year after the first), but with IPB,
you'll get all future upgrades.
IPB also has a more Modular approach, so it can use additional site
modules without manually editing PHP files via FTP.
Just my 0.02c..
