[ros-general] Compiling under Linux

Thanks. I had to change the binutils version because the one in the
script got a 404 from sourceforge:
# BINUTILS=binutils-2.15.90-20040222-1-src.tar.gz
BINUTILS=binutils-2.15.94-20050118-1-src.tar.gz
Also, the gcc.tmp directory during the build process became huge
(3.3 GB!) and filled the partition. Is this normal?
