[ros-general] Reactos and Lilo

Is it a bug or a functionality?

I've got GRUB on my mbr to boot other OSes (Linux, ...) So when i
decided  to install Reactos , i made a copy of my MBR and  was prepared
to boot on knoppix in order to backup it after the Reactos installation.
But "hopefully" the mbr was not touch, and only the freeldr.sys and
freeldr.ini was install on the hard drive apparently because of the bug
you mentioned. After that I 've just had to add the correct entry in the
menu.lst of grub to boot Reactos:

title ReactOS
root (hd0,0)
kernel /freeldr.sys

So for me, and I think for other people too, it is the best way Reactos
can install itslef.

When you will correct the bug, can you had a third boot installation way
(not MBR, not Floppy) that just install freeldr.sys and freeldr.ini on
the hard drive, but does not touch the MBR?

I've yet ask that for 0.2.6.
