burn it to a cd, reboot and do an install. i've done this with every
version i've downloaded and it has NEVER corrupted my win98 installation.
i once had to "fdisk /mbr" and "sys c:" when it all went tits up, but i
never lost data. come on, all your important stuff is backed up anyway,
isn't it?
