I tried that already. I added this one to our DB already for testing:

It works nicely to load the real Setup by Firefox, but our RAPPS download routine seems to really dislike the ?nowrap. I guess it’s due to some relocating happening which we don’t support at all yet.


So… no nice way right now to get it working. We should improve the load routine a bit more by some switch/case like here https://github.com/AnalogJ/Wix3.6Toolset/blob/master/RC0-source/wix36-sources/src/ambient/appsynup/download.cpp#L149 (thx for showing me swyter) I can try to tinker a bit with it, but first I have to read some more stuff of the methods used. I don’t wanna make others mad once more with my … let's call it coding “skillz” ^^

There are links to filezilla which doesnt lead to the malware installer shit. This link ends with ".../download?nowrap"




maybe adding this works for MirandaIM too
