It can be transfered but it will be messy.  It will required a far bit 
of advertising expense or donations.

Its the same a declaring someone legally dead.   Advertisement is done 
about change if person does not respond in the required time is classed 
as either dead or not interested   The advertisement has to include what 
the change is.

Please note on cost it will be a lot better to find Ariadne.  Reason 
even changing the status without Ariadne after going the the 
advertisement line can still be disputed in court if Ariadne turns back up.
