Making USB-support a prerequisite for 0.3.0 doesn't mean, that it will 
be implemented sooner, but a release has to support USB to be called 
0.3.0 if USB-support is a prerequisite for 0.3.0.
Anyway, try the USB-Mouse and USB-Keyboard legacy options in your BIOS, 
with this two options enabled your mouse and keyboard should work.
