bootsect.ros probably is the bootsector previous to installing FreeLDR.
and if it's not, then it's the bootsector for loading FreeLDR, but then 
it would not make sense to store it in a file (unless wanting to 
chainload FreeLDR from another bootloader).

Casper Hornstrup's website (www.reactos.com , then 'links' section) 
contained daily snapshots of for example FreeLoader on a 1.44MB 
diskette, and the 'install.exe' program which can create the bootsector 
for FreeLDR.sys

However, that site does not seem to work. We're out of luck :(
