Hi everyone. I've been lurking in this list for quite some time. I'm
simoncpu from Cebu, Philippines. :)

IMHO, I think it would be most logical to use the .org TLD because it
appropriately describes the nature of the ReactOS project. We must use
reactos.org for all correpondence and advertisements, but reactos.com
must still redirect--not just point--to reactos.org. I agree that other
sites will tend to link to reactos.org.

According to the Public Internet Registry, we ought to use a .ORG TLD
because it provides:

* TRUST: .ORG conveys credibility. It is the home of groups that people
turn to for trusted information, guidance and support.

* VALUABLE, WELL-INTENTIONED INFORMATION: .ORG Web sites are known for
containing valuable information and for representing worthwhile causes.

* FUNDRAISING POTENTIAL: .ORG customers report that having a site with
the .ORG extension is best for online fundraising.

* TARGETING: The vast majority of Internet users associate "nonprofit"
with .ORG Web sites.

BTW, when I queried the whois for reactos.net, I found that it was
registered to someone else:

And /usr/games/fortune futurama says:

Zapp: Now that's a wave of destruction that's easy on the eyes.
Calculon: I'm programmed to be very busy.
