Well, it hanging at particular spot screams "KDB" to me, but I assume
you are using the release ISO from SF.  I believe it could be one of
the known bugs we shipped in 0.2.7. 
(http://www.reactos.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=688)  We had one
report of it failing with the AllocConsole bug even with a mouse
plugged in.  We would need a debug build and a null modem cable to
know for sure.
