I'm not 100% sure. 0.2.4 was uploaded to sf 2004-09-12. There was a moved
soft reset in atapi.c v. 1.54, 2004-09-14. Whether or not this matters in
this case I can't tell.

Possibly I was a bit over-protective of users equipment and overreacted. I
could have written "Could this ... warrant ...?". Maybe we should wait for
filip and see what he has to say about it.
