Hi,

for enabling the serial port you must change freeldr.ini. If you will 
see the debug prints while installing from the cd, you must change 
OsLoadOptions in txtsetup.sif. I've never used gdb. I use the serial 
line only for debug prints. On the second computer you can use any 
terminal program. I'm using Teraterm for windows.
