Save/restore Floating Point State

Post by Zombiedeth »

I wonder if this is one of the main items blocking sound and video drivers from working fully. What would be involved in finishing the implementation?

I mean how amazing would it be to have hardware accelerated OpenGL working before ReactOS 0.5.0.

We have HW accelerated OGL already in theory. And as you can read in this report it might be no probnlem at all (in the reporters case a audio driver btw). Did you witnedd these log entries when installing a gfx driver?
ReactOS is still in alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes.

If my post/reply offends or insults you, be sure that you know what sarcasm is...

Well if you count virtualization redirecting to an external opengl stack sure. But natively or on real hardware no. As far as the logs i wasn't involved as i don't have a working jira login. But i have logged the installation of Nvidia graphics drivers in my own testing and i'm pretty certain KeRestoreFloatingPointState and KeSaveFloatingPointState are being called by the driver.

these logs are taken with a stock install of ReactOS nothing additional is added other then the Nvidia drivers.
