Iirc AHK is a suite that was born from AutoIt. So basically they use Basic alike commands which wraps around winapi.
Ahk is already being used by us to test apps.

Return to the Roots (Settlers 2 engine remake - it's win32 executable)
It runs without issue, but it's horribly slow (you can see from the screenshot - 2 fps in game).

there is still a problem that code::blocks is TOP-MOST and covers all other windows including the console-output window and it still loses the configuration after restart but it getting better :)
The only problem with Code::Blocks is that once you run the compiled program, you can't cancel it.

The FPS issue happens mostly because of the lack of the correct graphics card drivers

Yes, I agree with that. Is there any driver or a hack that I could use to increase graphics performance on VirtualBox?

Duh, I didn't think about it, silly me. Now the fps is 150+, but some glitches appeared. Will log an issue.

KaM Remake - kamremake.com, you need the Guest additions and the original Knights and Merchants (or The Peasants Rebellion) installed

Well, I did vice versa. ROS tells you what dll is missing and the runtimes have all included DLLs listed in rapps. Not that fine, but the best solution if you dont wanna change all translatios every time some dev decides to use a new runtime.
ReactOS is still in alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes.
